Traveling through some of the most beautiful high country mountain terrain, you’ll experience parts of the world’s largest Ponderosa Pine forest, groves of majestic Aspen trees, fern covered mountain sides, expansive meadows with sprawling wildflowers and breathtaking views of the San Francisco Peaks. The area is home to an extensive population of wildlife, including White Tail Deer, Elk, Pronghorn Antelope and Bald Eagles. The summit accent reaches nearly 9000’ promising unspoiled, 270 degree views of the expansive volcanic topography. You’ll be able to see the San Francisco Peaks, Sunset Crater, the Painted Desert, and the Grand Canyon on a clear day. Chairs will be provided so that you can relax and enjoy the views. You’ll be able to stretch your legs, explore the summit, and capture photos of the incredible view!
